Les championnats du Monde ISAF viennent de s’achever à Perth pour les trois Suisses engagés en Laser Standard dans une flotte de 147 navigateurs. Les conditions de vent n’auront de loin pas été toujours faciles en ce mois de décembre.

Guillaume Girod (20 ans) se classe au 51ème rang (2ème en Silver Fleet avec deux excellentes places de 2 et de 3), 1er Suisse et 24ème nation à l’issue des 10 manches courues, sélectionnant ainsi la Suisse en tant que nation au JO de Londres de 2012 !

There is just over 3 weeks left to make applications for entry to the 2012 World Laser Masters, World Laser 4.7 Youth and World Laser Standard Junior Championships.

Please can all National Laser Class ask any of their sailors who may be interested in attending any of these championships to complete the relevant application form on the ILCA website urgently.  If possible, please publish this information on your website and send an email to any sailors from your country that meet the age criteria for each championship.

Les Championnats du Monde ISAF 2011 viennent de s’achever en Laser Radial pour les dames à Perth (Australie) avec la participation des 102 meilleures laséristes mondiales dans des conditions de vent assez difficiles et complexes.
A l’issue des 10 régates courues, Nathalie BRUGGER se classe à la 12ème place et réussit les critères de sélection imposés par Swiss Olympic pour qualifier la Suisse en Laser Radial Women aux Jeux de Londres 2012.
Manon LUTHER malgré sa bonne progression, termine ce championnat à la 50ème place. (weiterlesen …)

At the recent EAGM a decision was made to add a new European Championship:  The European Laser Radial Women’s Under 21 Championship & Trophy.  This event will be held at the same time and place as the European Laser Standard Under 21 Championship.  The first European Laser Radial Women’s Under 21 Championship will take place for the first time next year, in Nieuwpoort, Belgium from the 18th – 25th August 2012.

The European Laser Radial Women’s Under 21 Championship & Trophy is an allocated place event for sailors who will be at least 17 years old but not 21 years old in 2012.  Sailors eligible for this event will be born in 1992, 1993, 1994 or 1995.
